We just had a horrible scare with our family. We went out of town this past weekend and lcoked our home up like we always to and come home to a broken in home. Apparently someone opened the garage door from the garage door opener in our car. My husband forgot to lock the care. Geez! Are brand new 60" tv was stolen and also some of my jewelry. We'll thank goodness we weren't home and the family is safe. I started searching for some home security systems and came across this site which does a good job at listing and comparing the features. http://www.besthomealarmsystemsreviews.com.
My name is Sarah and I blog over at We Luv Kids. My blog is my journey into first-time motherhood. To me, motherhood is about embracing the unexpected, the beauty, the solace, the magic, the chaos of life's everyday moments.
To give you a little bit more insight into who I am, I am a first-time mommy from South Carolina. Yes, this means we spend winters at the beach and wear flip-flops all year 'round! 😉 I've lived here my whole life and couldn't imagine living anywhere else! Having published my first book back in high school, I still tend to identify myself as a writer even though I took a somewhat voluntary sabbatical from writing upon entering college. Blogging is now my outlet where I can express creativity, say what comes to mind and share photographs to back it all up. I'm a total movie and music buff, though these days I spend more time chasing around a very on-the-go baby than watching the latest movies!
My husband and I actually began dating when we were 15 and 16 years old. I know a lot of people find high school sweethearts pretty silly and hard to believe, but I have loved growing up alongside the love of my life. Over the years, we've experienced driver's licenses, high school graduations, college graduations, homeownership, marriage and, most recently, the birth of our first child. It's been an amazing journey to share together.
Every day with little Johnny is an adventure, and that is what my blog essentially encompasses. Motherhood is crazy and sweet and hard and beautiful, and I feel honored to be along for the ride with this silly little boy by my side.
